Objective: Interrupt the theocratic script of the Iranian regime (“Theocratic Claim to Power and Logic of Violence,” Martin Döhring 2018) and transition it into a new, rational Adult–Adult script.
Concrete goals:
Abandonment of nuclear proliferation (no weapons development, full IAEA transparency)
Recognition of Israel (de jure or de facto as a legitimate state)
Permanent opening of the Strait of Hormuz (free navigation without threats or blockades)
1. Script Analysis of the Regime (According to Berne: Life Script + Game + Ego States)
The regime follows a classic dysfunctional life script, which Berne describes as an unconscious life plan—here originating in the “childhood” of the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and continuously reinforced:
Script title: “We are God’s representatives—everyone else is an enemy of God (Mohareb/Mofsed-e-fel-arz). Failure is always the fault of others.”
Basic decision (early decision): “I (the Faqih) am OK because I am divine. You (critics, the West, Israel, our own people during protests) are not OK.” (Life position: “I’m OK – You’re not OK”)
Ego states:
Dominant Critical Parent (Velayat-e Faqih as sacred authority; execution as “divine punishment”)
The population is kept in the Adapted Child (submission) or fought as a Rebellious Child (protest = war against God)
The Adult is systematically suppressed: economic reality (inflation, impoverishment despite resources) is externalized (“enemy sanctions”)
The ongoing game: “If it weren’t for the enemies…” (Berne’s “If it weren’t for them”) Payoff: Preservation of power through repression and religious rhetoric. The worse reality becomes, the louder the theocracy—exactly as Döhring describes.
This script is resistant to facts because failure is not interpreted as internal deficiency but as a metaphysical attack.
This script produces precisely the paradox identified by Döhring: A regime that claims divine legitimacy generates continuous human suffering—and thereby exposes itself.
2. Antithesis (Berne): Stop the Game and Invite a New Script
Berne states that a game ends when one party crosses the transaction and shifts into the Adult ego state—with facts, contracts, clear consequences, and options.
The regime cannot be “therapized,” but it can be forced—through repeated, parallel Adult transactions—to abandon the old script because the payoff (retention of power) becomes achievable only within the new script.
New script (target script):“We are a rational actor among sovereign states. Our security and prosperity depend on predictable agreements—not divine chosenness.”(Life position: “I’m OK – You’re OK”, with clear red lines.)
3. Operational Intervention Script (Step-by-Step Transactions)
The script is designed as a sequential chain of transactions—in Berne’s sense, a series of interactions with a clear objective.
It uses current realities (2026: military weakening after operations against nuclear facilities, ongoing Hormuz blockade, negotiations in Pakistan) as “Adult facts” that undermine the old script.
Phase 1: Script Awareness (Crossed Transaction – 1–2 weeks)
Stimulus (Adult → Critical Parent): Public and private transmission of factual documents: “Your economy is collapsing not because of ‘enemies,’ but because the theocratic script diverts resources into missiles and proxies instead of prosperity.”
Objective: The regime experiences the contradiction between divine claim and real misery. No moral preaching (which would reinforce Parent–Child), but cold Adult data (inflation, impoverishment, destroyed nuclear infrastructure).
Expected reaction: Initial Parent rage (“war against God” rhetoric). Ignore and repeat.
Phase 2: Adult Invitation (Parallel Transactions – Negotiations)
Core offer (Adult → Adult):“You can secure your survival if you take three clear, verifiable steps:
Abandon nuclear proliferation (transfer/dilute all highly enriched uranium under international control; no enrichment above 3.67%)
Recognize Israel as a sovereign state (de facto via non-aggression pact + end of ‘Death to Israel’ doctrine)
Fully open and permanently secure the Strait of Hormuz (no mines, no drones, free passage for all vessels)”
Reciprocal payoff (Adult):
Massive sanctions relief + economic package (oil exports, investments)
Security guarantees (no further military strikes if agreements are upheld)
Face-saving: “Iran as a respected regional actor”—without dismantling the old script explicitly, but rendering it irrelevant
Phase 3: Script Reinforcement / Redecision (Ongoing)
Every fulfilled sub-condition (e.g., partial uranium transfer) is immediately rewarded with positive reinforcement (phased sanctions relief)
Every violation (e.g., new threat to Hormuz) is met with precise, limited Adult consequences (no escalation into Parent–Child punishment dynamics)
Internal Iranian actors (population, pragmatic elites) are included: Direct Adult messaging to society (“Your suffering is not God’s will, but a political choice”)—weakening the script from within
Phase 4: Anchoring the New Script (Long-term)
Contracts with clear milestones and automatic consequences (“snap-back” sanctions)
The regime learns: The new script (“We are rational sovereign actors”) delivers a better payoff (survival + prosperity) than the old one (“divine chosenness amid ruins”)
Important Note (Adult Level)
This is a theoretical script structured through transactional analysis—not a substitute for diplomacy.
In reality, it only works if Adult power backs it (military, economic, diplomatic leverage). The old script is extremely resilient because it is existentially tied to the survival of the theocracy.
Berne would argue: as long as the payoff of the old game remains more attractive, it will continue to be played.
The script exploits precisely the vulnerability identified by Döhring: The regime does not truly believe in God—it believes in violence and externalization.
If it is shown that violence and externalization lead to its own long-term collapse, it will (under pressure) shift scripts.
This is Berne’s antithesis in its pure form: Adult facts instead of Parent–Child warfare.

- Grundentscheidung (early decision): „Ich…
